SAHBA GHASRODASHTI
Before pursuing graduate studies in psychotherapy and counselling, Sahba completed a multidisciplinary bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sexology. Over the past five years, she has had the privilege of providing bilingual services to a diverse range of populations, including individuals in social rehabilitation within the carceral system, those navigating mental health recovery, and survivors of conjugal violence. Each of these experiences has shaped her growth as a counsellor and deepened her understanding of the many ways people seek healing and resilience.
She has supported clients in addressing a variety of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, substance use, anger management, and challenges in achieving a healthy work–life balance. Her practice is rooted in an integrative approach, with Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at its core. She works with adults in both individual and couple settings, always prioritizing the therapeutic alliance. She believes that healing begins with a relationship built on empathy, authenticity, and trust, and she strives to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Sahba is currently completing her practicum as part of her studies at Yorkville University. She is also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and a registered member (qualifying) of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
